Brood X – Time for Men to Wake Up

Brood X is a species of cicada.
It lives underground, sucking the sap out of tree roots
Slumbering for years

And every seventeen years…
They emerge.
They wake up from their slumber
They shed their skin
And the raise their powerful voices.

Men.
We have been asleep.
Buried. Bound. Blind.
