Episode 3: The Starting Line – Training to WIN
No runner wins a race without training. He cannot just wake up and roll out of bed and hit the track and expect to win. Just about the only thing that you CAN tackle without training is the art of being a slob.
As we prepare to run our race, let’s ask ourselves, what muscles do we need to stretch? What exercises do we need to do? What trainers do we need to work with?
What books can you read to learn about this part of your life?
What people do you need to confide in to grow deeper?
What things do you need to stop doing in order to grow?
What things do you need to start doing?
Now – set yourself a goal – Give it a deadline.
Then identify your plan to get there.
Identify the people you plan to rely on for accountability,
Then make it happen.
